This class is designed for youth archers ages 9–18 who have completed an Explore Archery session, a One-on-One lesson, or a prior Upstate Archery Academy class and are ready to continue progressing in their skills. If you are new to us and would like to join, Give us a call to set up your one-on-one to get you started. This combined Intermediate and Advanced class is ideal for archers who understand range safety and are building confidence, as well as those ready for more advanced challenges. Instruction is tailored to each archer’s individual skill level, allowing everyone to grow at their own pace within a supportive and focused group environment. In this program, archers will: Strengthen and refine core shooting fundamentals Deepen their understanding of deliberate practice Learn to approach challenges with confidence and a growth mindset Work toward personal goals with guidance from coaches Be encouraged to engage with the wider archery community through events, clubs, and volunteer opportunities This class goes beyond improving technique—it’s about developing focused, confident, and committed archers at every stage of their journey. Ask one of our coaches—we’re happy to help! 📝 Important Notes: Closed-toe shoes required (No Crocs) Long hair must be tied back 24-hour cancellation notice required First-time archers in 2026 must purchase an annual Development Membership ($20) Rental fees may apply to returning archers after the free rental period All applicable fees are collected at the first class A $3.00 processing fee is included in the registration price Advance students : Must own personal archery equipment Must have taken a previous class at Upstate Archery Academy and been recommended for this level Intermediated students: They are also encouraged to start purchasing their own equipment.
